Introduction:
Australia Awards Scholarships offer life-changing opportunities for individuals from developing countries to pursue undergraduate or postgraduate studies at leading Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions.
Host Institutions: Participating Australian Universities and TAFE Institutions.
Study Levels and Fields:
- Available for undergraduate or postgraduate programs related to your country’s development priorities.
- Excludes training in aviation, nuclear technology, or military sectors.

Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years old by 1 February of the scholarship year.
- Hold citizenship in a participating country and apply from there.
- Not hold Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or be in the process of applying for them.
- Not be affiliated with the Australian or New Zealand military.
- Not have previously received a long-term Australia Award, unless meeting specific residency requirements.
- Have no criminal convictions, especially related to child protection or other specified areas.
- Meet any additional criteria set by the applicant’s country of citizenship.
- Fulfill admission and visa requirements of the chosen institution.
- Not apply for a lower academic level than already achieved.
Scholarship Benefits:
The scholarship typically covers:
- Full tuition fees.
- Return air travel.
- Establishment allowance.
- Contribution to living expenses.
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC).
- Introductory Academic Program (IAP).
- Pre-course English (PCE) fees, and more.
